The Powerhouse Celebrates 3 Years!

Open House Celebration SATURDAY MARCH 22ND, 4-9PM

A screening of Surviving Our Story, a film by local film maker Isaiah Branch-Boyle, local skiier Ryan McClure and professional skiier Connor Ryan.

We are opening our doors this Saturday, March 22nd from 4-9 to celebrate 3 years as a dynamic arts space in these San Juan Mountains. Come and explore our nine resident artist studios, have some food and wine, and listen to music by Scott Craig and his brothers. A true Silverton art reunion.

One of our newest members, fiber artist Katherine Seessel, will be showing a 16 foot woven piece in our gallery space. We brought out the big ladder to hang this one, and we’re very excited about it.

The guided studio tour will begin at 5:30 p.m., offering a rare glimpse into the creative spaces of Silverton’s resident artists. The tour will start on the third floor with Julian Hood and Kat Seessel, continue to the second-floor studios of Phil Antonelli and Anne Chase, then move through the foyer studios of Abigail Sabra, Jeff Davis, and Hannah Green, and conclude on the first floor with Hillary Cable and the Bandito House Band.

We are excited to celebrate our third year creating, celebrating and learning in this hydroelectric plant turned art experience.
