Two weeks packrafting down the Dolores River, a waterway that was once regarded as one of the top three western rivers adventures- now the most imperiled river in the Colorado River Basin. This film follows the adventures of Brett and Annie as they travel into the wild canyons and conflict of the River of Sorrow, El Rio de Nuestra sonora de Dolores. The film will take a deep dive into the nuanced and complicated issues of the Dolores River including climate change, overallocation and agriculture, boating, Tribal water rights, and more. We’ll meet and interview a variety of stakeholders and those whose lives are intertwined with the river to help us tell the story of this magnificent river.
